How to update device

If you will trying to update your device to a newer version. You can do this very easily by creating a mobile hotspot on your phone.

SSID: default123
PASSWORD: default123

When you activate the hotspot and then with the car on, go to the last menu, which indicates the device version. When you are on that DISPLAY 18, you must hold the RES or any other button except for the up and down buttons, until it shows WIFI CONNECTING.

This is the menu you need to get to in order to perform the update.

 

When it connects, the update will start.

This is the procedure if you have an Android system.

 

If you have an iPhone, it is a little more difficult to set the SSID, because the network name on the iPhone is the same as your phone name. So if you want to change the SSID, you must change the phone name to default123.

We recommend that you try doing this with an Android phone.
