How to install SGW BYPASS

 

Does my car have SGW?
- All cars manufactured after 02/2018 should have SGW installed

 

On both models, Giulia and Stelvio, the SGW MODULE is in the same places.
More precisely on the steering column, on the upper side.

The easiest way is to unscrew the two allen screws from the radio on the left side, then tilt it out a little so that you can get inside easier with your left hand.

If you push above the steering column, you will feel the SGW module, it is screwed in with three 10mm screws. They are very loosely tightened, you need a small ratchet with a 10mm extension, so you can simply unscrew them and remove the SGW module. When you have unscrewed those three screws, it is movable, if you manage to follow the cable, there is a clip pressed into the pipe (steering column) that you have to tear off so that you can completely remove the module outwards so that you can remove the two connectors. 

When you have removed those two connectors, insert those two connectors into our SGW BYPASS.

It's a little difficult, but if you're good with mechanics, you'll succeed.
